Intergalactic the rules this event adds
Every table plays an ordinary, unmodified game of Twilight Imperium. Everything on this page sits on top of that — it changes what winning the day means, never how a game of TI4 is played.
Not written yet. The headings below are the shape of it;
the words are still to come. Until then the decisions live in
docs/plans/PLAN_iti_foundation.md, and the person running the
event is the authority in the room.
Colour is your team
Each table has at most one player per colour, so every colour is a team spanning every table. You are trying to win your own game and to make your colour win the day.
To be written.
How the day is scored
A team scores the raw sum of its players' victory points — no placement points, no bonus for winning a table. Short teams may be topped up with a notional player on the event average.
To be written.
The galactic event
One event, chosen by the room at the start, applying to every table at once for the whole day.
To be written.
Shared agendas
Agendas are revealed to the whole hall and voted on table by table, under ordinary TI4 rules. Laws that pass stay in effect everywhere until they are repealed.
To be written.
Seating, colours and factions
Who sits where, in what colour, as which faction — dealt by the randomiser from the roster, and adjustable by hand at any point.
To be written.
Running the day
Who may record a score, how a round is counted, and what goes on the television.
